Bengali women are a great product of a great civilization. They are the paragon of everything that is good about India .Their role as loving mothers and dexterous housewives is the basis of domestic and social bliss . It is because of her that our soldiers are able to leave their homes and fight in the most inhospitable terrains of our country.

The Role of a house wife is no mean task. One has to be a finance, materials and maintenance manager, a chef, a nutritionist, etc all bundled into one. She is the chief trustee of the family. She is instrumental in installing virtues in her kids.

But today our girls, in name of being educated, are being crammed with certain information that is of no practical use in life. The education system is also not able to install any values. She is not taught cooking, stitching, nutrition logy, hygiene, mother craft, home-science and religion which would be more useful to her.

Thanks to our population control programme, Motherhood is portrayed as most backward thing to go for.

Thanks to the Multinational Companies and their need for cheap labour, the housewife is portrayed to be an illiterate backward woman. Smart girls are shown to become models, hostresses, call centre executives, counter girls etc. who go to pub regularly.

The role models of young girls are not Sati, Savitri, Sita, Damayanti but Sushmita Sen who changes her boyfriend every other day.

Girls who are single child are pampered by parents to become young Empresses. They are given a costly mobile every other day. Hence the do not learn how to care, share or live within their means.

Today the upper elchons of government are occupied by ultra feminist or wily politicians who want wealth and power by dividing society on basis of gender. In name preventing dowry, domestic violence, they are enacting draconian laws. Such laws give unfettered power to indecorous girls to defy all family discipline, and make the instrument of marriage a profitable enterprise.

Such a situation may be good for multinationals, but certainly not our country. The West has realized, after experimentation during post war years, the virtue of traditional family system. Most governments are giving encouragement and sops to families and mothers. However we are trying to commit the same mistake that the Occident has done.

We must remember that our economic success in the field of IT is possible because our youth puts hard years of study, when youths of other countries are engaged in dating. This is possible because of a strong family system.

Therefore the Intelligentsia is urged to come out in open support of the family, housewife and the mother and prevent the growing trend of untying the knot.

You know you sound like Mukesh right?? Women should do this and that ! And cooking stitching religion is not one gender’s domain. Open your eyes , try to think of the various reasons why the women around you are so much seen as objects than human beings !! God bless the women in your life, seriously !!
